The 48th Annual European Meeting on Atmospheric Studies by Optical Methods will be held simultaneously.\n \nVenue:\nUiT The Arctic University of Norway campus\, Tromsø\, Norway\n \nDates:\nJuly 29 – August 2\, 2024\n\nAbstract Deadline:\nMarch 30\, 2024\n \nPreliminary Session List:– EISCAT 3D\, and Complementary Instrumentation\n– Magnetosphere-Ionosphere-Thermosphere Coupling\n– Novel Radar and Signal Processing Techniques\n– Imager/Aurora Studies\n– Satellite\, Rocket\, and Multi-Instrument Studies\n– D-region and Mesospheric Phenomena\n– Meteors and Space Debris\n– Machine Learning in Space and Atmospheric Physics\n– Modelling of Auroral/Magnetospheric Processes\n– Active Ionospheric Experiments (Heating\, etc.)\n– Space Weather\n– Effects of Satellites on Incoherent Scatter Radar Measurement\n\nOptical Meeting Session List:\n– Novel Optical Instrumentation and Techniques\n– Optical Calibration Techniques\n– Aurora\n– Airglow\n– Atmospheric Composition\, Aerosols\, and Clouds (Polar Stratospheric\, Noctilucent\, etc.)\n– Meteors\, Sprites\, and other Transient PhenomenaPlease note that some sessions may be combined depending on abstract submission numbers.\n \nAccommodations:\nDue to the demand for hotels in Tromsø during the summer months\, it is recommended to book your hotel/accommodations as soon as possible.\n \nMore details about registration and abstract submission will be released in the future.\n \n2024 is an important year for the incoherent scatter community as it will be the first year of EISCAT 3D operations.
